Wholemeal Lavender Shortbread Cookies

What you'll need:

120g brown sugar
-
60g ground almonds
-
2g salt
-
240g unsalted butter
-
Lavender leaves to sprinkle
Blue Jacket Wholewheat Flour
Method:

Place butter,sugar and salt, vanilla and salt in bowl

Cream lightly
-
Gradually add sifted flour and ground almond, mix until soft dough forms. Sprinkle lavender leaves on top
-
Press dough in a Springform round pan to flatten
-
Prick holes on the surface and bake at 170°C for approximately 20mins
-
Cut the baked shortbread cookies as soon as it comes out of the oven
-
Cool and serve
