Wholemeal Lavender Shortbread Cookies

What you'll need:

Blue Jacket Wholewheat Flour

Method:
  1. Place butter,sugar and salt, vanilla and salt in bowl
     

  2. Cream lightly
     

  3. Gradually add sifted flour and ground almond, mix until soft dough forms. Sprinkle lavender leaves on top
     

  4. Press dough in a Springform round pan to flatten
     

  5. Prick holes on the surface and bake at 170°C for approximately 20mins
     

  6. Cut the baked shortbread cookies as soon as it comes out of the oven
     

  7. Cool and serve
