Homemade Tortilla
Wraps

What you'll need:
​For Wheat Tortillas, makes 10

250ml warm water

85g butter, softened
​
Alternatively,
For Corn Tortillas, makes 12

455g masa harina
-
315ml cold water
-
1 tsp salt
Blue Jacket All-Purpose Flour
Method:

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Cover and rest for 20min.

Shape dough into 3cm ball.

Place ball between 2 pieces waxed paper and place in centre of tortillas press.

Flatten ball slightly with fingers. Close press and push handle down until ball is completely flattened.

Open and remove the tortilla. Peel off wax paper and cook tortilla on pan for 2min each side. Ready to serve.

Notes:
-
Fry in oil to make Tostadas. Fold and deep-fry for Tacos.

Tortillas can be frozen for future use.
